Catering for the increasing need for more visible price marking and in-store merchandise promotion within the Retail market, the new DR3™ Label and Tag Printer from SatoPrinters.co.uk offers improved standalone printing capabilities. Using a new optional keypad tool, users can remove the need to connect to a PC or host system, meaning that investment in expensive IT systems and machines is no longer needed. The DR3™ Sato Printer truly is a standalone solution as the Operator inputs variable data using the keypad and sends the data for printing when required.

Although the DR3™ from SatoPrinters.co.uk is designed for easy configuration without having to rely on a host system it can be operated in Online mode whilst connected to a PC to enable monitoring and remote printer management of one or even multiple printers

The DR3™ Sato Printers unique plug-in interface card design offers flexible connectivity options for users depending on their application requirements. The DR3™ has been designed with flexible media pitch sensors to achieve the best start-of and end-of-print capabilities. This allows detection of label and tag holes or gaps wherever they might be, and by extension avoid the need for unsightly marks that guide correct printed data positioning.
